Hi guys am i right in thinking owners of simteks can but the license and cable so they can preety much take it to any mapper and have it mapped, if so where in gods name can i get the license and cable lol

Get in touch with your closest simtek dealer and ask afaik you have purchase it with your simtek as you can't use another persons dongle.

 

i got in touch with Steve Simpson owner of simtek to get mine! i had to get permission from who has the original software and first programed it which for me was APIs, then you can buy it but it was a lot of money to, so i spoke to the person who was going to do my future mapping and he got it for free as he also was a simtek installer,

 

speak to the dealer you want to use and they will sort it for you.

it was originally fitted by mocom so just call them up buy the license and cable and then it can be mapped by any decent tuner?

 

If you intend having it mapped by a simtek dealer then they can access it for nothing.
If you want a nonsimtek dealer to map it then you need the serial number and to ring simtek and purchase the lead, dongle and software.
What are you wanting to do?

 

its sods low lol there are plenty of scoobi specilists near me but none of them do simteks so i was hoping to get the software and cable and have it remapped as well as having a sports cat fitted and a blitz nur spec r, does anyone have a number for simtek?
