Can you put a uk wrx MY 02+ in a MY99 classic?
Can anyone help me answer this question.....
Will a european WRX 2002 onwards engine go into a classic MY99
Is it just a straight swop or is there far more to it than that?

One presumes that the MY99 classic is a UK car? If so, yes, it's not too bad because the long engines are virtually identical. As has been said, swap the entire inlet manifold assembly as a unit, inc pipes, throttle, ISCV, loom etc. The other thing you'd want to swap is the up-pipe, as the newage one will have a cat in it.
