Can I put it in the dishwasher?

I've seen people do this on various parts and get sweet results, can it be done with a bare inlet manifold? Or will it possibly damage it?

I just want to get it as clean as poss

cant see it damaging the manifold it a big lump of cast metal.

not sure it will do the dishwashe much good though.

 

chuck in a couple of calgon tablets, should do the trick lol . friend of mine did it with his inlet off his astra, done the trick i must say.

 

i gave mine a bath!! lol

W.T.F my wife would kill me if i put that in dishwasher. why not use a parrafin bath like normal people

 

Lol, I'm gonna have a go today! Missus thinks I'm nuts, but we'll see who is nuts when the dishwasher has finished!

Have you done this yet? I'm sure I read somewhere that you aren't supposed to put ally things in the dishwasher as the dishwaher powder/tablets can turn them black
