The orientation shouldn't be a problem. Biggest issue I can see there is that I can't see the third port - and that given where the bracket is, there doesn't seem to be any room for it. Take it you're running in two port mode?

Yeah, just like A'PEXi's 3-porter - 3rd port is open and just vents to air when BDC-ing...

What have you done with the spare port? Is it open or blocked? And what about the t-piece and restrictor, have you disconnected them or are they still there in some way?

Being upside down wont affect it Jim. The only thing to check is that as its being run in the 2 port config the restrictor pill still needs to be in place. At least thats the way the perrin 3port has to be.

As above seems it is being run as a 3-port with the outlet vented. If it was me I'd plumb back into the inlet tract as per OE, but provided the old return has been blocked, the very small amounts of air vented out of the system won't affect the operation of the car.
