classic non-turbo exhaust onto a sti?
Hey folks, theres a guy who i work with who wants to sell me a stainless steel exhaust system, he says its from the turbo back, but im sure his car is a sport i.e nonturbo but wearing a wrx body kit like the bonnet bumpers etc, he wants £100 for the whole lot which of course is a very good deal, says the reason for selling it is because it failed a mot since it dosent have any cats on it will a sport exhaust fit a turbo model or are they different??

to be honest mate i dont really wanna remove the cat on my car i think its pointless doing it on a road car, i just wanna fit the mid and backbox, i theory they should fit since the floor pan is the same right??

Floorpan is the same but the exhaust diameters and general design may be different, given that the sport has a lower powered engine and a totally different frontal exhaust layout.
Will the seller take a return if it doesn't fit? If so, and you like the remainder of the system, no reason not to try it.
