hi guys im new to the forum and to subarus so if this has been posted before im really sorry
i own a 1992-4 impreza wrx just waiting to find out exactly as i bought it with a private plate so wont find out until i get the log book back
its got a greddy blow off valve and hks exhaust with a trust induction kit
the car feels very restricted like something is holding it back and seams to be hunting
would this be because the dumpvalve is atomospheric i had another second hand maf spare ive put this on and its exactly the same
also the car seems to get a bit bogged down on about 5000 revs
hope to hear from you soon as im going bald from the hair ive been pulling out hehe
thanks guys

Welcome. Best advice to give you is to get your car to a specialist and get it looked at. We can't tell you what's wrong via the internet and there are so many potential causes for the issues you're reporting, any guesses we make here will probably confuse rather than help you.
Swapping from one used airflow sensor to another one doesn't help you much - as both might be knackered, or both might be good and the problem is elsewhere.
For what it's worth you can work out the model year of the car from the VIN and applied model codes on the vehicle ID plate. Click Search and you'll find out how the codes work.

i had the same problem with my 94 wrx kept hunting and running rough, i had new coil packs, a different maf and fixed a couple of air leaks, and it ran like a dream (until the refound power destroyed my clutch, mostly my fault lol.)
