Default Powder coating inlet manifold..

I have bought a spare intake manifold today, which I'd like to get powdercoated.

How much roughly does this usually cost? Can they do a big range of colours or does that depend on where I take it?

Reason I ask is, if its too much, I may try to do it myself.

They do loads of colours for plastic coating.
I would think you'd be looking at about 5-60 to have it blasted and coated. I paid 100 to have a roll cage done which is obviously alot bigger then the manifold

Be VERY careful to ensure there is no blast grit left in it afterwards. It can hide in corners in sticky lumps.

What do you mean? Inside the manifold?

Yes.. We have a Guyson beadblaster, and we're EXTREMELY careful to make sure the inside of the manifolds are spotless. The finish is excellent when you use one, you just don't want abrasive grit inside the engine for obvious reasons.

Good friend got his powder coated in cherry red, looked the buisness. It did take two attempts though, first time the oven was too hot and the manifold melted!!!

Make sure you use someone who has done it before.

You sound like the man for the job? Lol.

How much do you charge to do this?

PM if you prefer.

Thanks
