apexi ecu
Hi there i,ve got a 1992 jap import impreza wrx it,s running at 250flywheel bhp and is pitty sluggish until the turbo kicks in at 3000rpm now i,am away to put a vf43 turbo out off 2007 hawkeye scooby and bigger injectors to match the turbo but my mate said this will proberly give me more antilag which i dont want as i,am all about accelaration and i,ve been told to put on an apexi fc ecu with commander as they are sipose to make your car alot faster but i,ve read about them and nothing say that it will make your car accelarate faster so i would be grateful if anybody could email me if they have any info or have put one of these apexi fc ecu with commander on there scooby and made it alot faster in accelaration or what differance did it make to there scooby cheers
You can't get more antilag i guess you just mean lag (they are 2 very different things
)
The Power FC is a remappable ecu so will be mapped to your car and will improve power.
if you still have the standard td05 turbo these are good for 320ish bhp,you can decat the car without the worry of failing emissions (pre July 1995 cars have an easier emissions test) this can lower the spool time.
You will need to improve the brakes (unless it's already been done) as the 2 pot calipers are ****.
Have a look here for other ecu options www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk
