Question Closed deck block?

I'm new to this section so pls go easy on me What's good about a CDB & ditto the use of forged parts?

hello,
A CDB is considered to be the strongest of Subaru engine blocks, the reason for this is that there is very little room for movement in the cylinders.

This link explains it far better than I can, plus it show pictures so you can actually see the difference.

Subaru Block

Forged steel parts are stronger than the cast internal parts in the EJ blocks. Again these are for high bhp outputs i.e. anything over 350bhp on a WRX
