A newbie needs your help badly - 1999 1.8 Audi TT turbo - lost coolant from expansion tank and aircon/ heater and aircon idler pulley needs refitting - can anyone help please we can't get the bolt in place no matter what we try!!!

Sounds like you have a leak in coolant, most likely the heater matrix, front carpets might be wet?

 

Thought that too - but holding coolant level overnight and after short run.
Found the bolt loose in the pan under the compressor and just can't get it back on - any help would be appreciated.
