speedo converter question

Default speedo converter question

hi people. i have just fitted a speedo converter to my 97 sti (cable type)

does it mean that what was 30kmp on the clocks is now 30 mph or will i have to change the speedo facia to a one that reads in mph.

you keep your own speedo no need to change.

yes thats right, some people will stick a mph sticker over the kpm on the exisiting clocks.

keep the clocks, just put a sticker over the k so it reads mph.

sorry to hijack this iv got the same car has dave there, wanna get mine converted too so to remove the 112mph limit, whats the score on converting the clocks, with the standard ecu??? ie does it need a remap?
