Quick check - If it's an STi, your engine should have a red inlet manifold.

Check the VIN plate code, and that will tell you what you've got

Early sti`s didn`t have a red manifold, pre 95.

All JDM Classic turbo Imprezas are termed "Subaru Impreza WRX..." (with some exceptions - see bottom of post)...

Then it's just a case of adding "Type RA" or ""Type R" or "Wagon" if appropriate... And then, if applicable, "STi Version" (or "STi Version II" / "STi Version III" / "STi Version IV" / "STi Version V" / "STi Version VI")...

e.g.:-

Non-STi

Subaru Impreza WRX
Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA
Subaru Impreza WRX Type R
Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon

STi

Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version
Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version III
Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version IV
Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version V
Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version VI

Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA STi Version
Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA STi Version II
Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA STi Version III
Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA STi Version IV
Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA STi Version V
Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA STi Version VI

Subaru Impreza WRX Type R STi Version III
Subaru Impreza WRX Type R STi Version IV
Subaru Impreza WRX Type R STi Version V
Subaru Impreza WRX Type R STi Version VI

Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon STi Version
Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon STi Version II
Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon STi Version III
Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon STi Version IV
Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon STi Version V
Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon STi Version VI

There is also Wagon SA / Wagon automatic / STi "555" & WRX and STi "V-Limited" special editions / 22B-STi / S201, etc, etc...

All very complicated, lol.

OP, post a photo up of your VIN plate - we'll then be able to identify your precise model variant, etc...

That New Age "STi" badge needs to be removed... then, to recreate the OEM factory look of a white STi, this specific green sticker should be added, :-

Roger Clark Motorsport - RCM Product Detail

It needs to be positioned centrally (along the x-axis) within the bootlid's width... but with the centre-line through the "WRX"'s height, in line with the top edge of the keylock.
