i want to change my clocks from cable drive to electric, have both sets,,,but im not sure how to work the gearbox end, thanks

 

what year?

you will need the speed sensor for the gearbox and the loom to the clocks.. the dash loom is different also to plug into the clocks etc

thanks simon, i have a 97 wrx with cable drive speedo,,,, and a wrecked 98 sti ( electric speedo) both box,s are still in the cars. i want to use the sti clocks (electric) but dont want the hassle of changing the box,, i have most of the loom already fitted(in the process) how do i fit the electric one into the cable box,,,you know were the cable comes out of the gearbox .....thanks

 

from memory it all unplugs and then you can unbolt it from the box
