Default Remap or PPP pack

All,

Jus recently got my scooby and already want to give it more power. I've been reading about remaps and putting the prodrive pack on. Which do you guys reccommend is better?

Thanx!

what year and model do you have mate?

and to be honest value for money and the return result i thikn most would agree that afew mods plus a reamp would see better results than a ppp it just depends on if the car has warranty left on it as anything other than the pp will void the warranty

just had ppp done on my 56plate wrx wagon
the prodrive exhaust is beautifully made and gives the car a nice burble which is not too loud, make the car even better to drive, torque is fantastic!

Personally I would not even compare the two. PPP does not make the power that they claim
Get it de catted or sports cat, a good panel filter and then re mapped, its the best £ per bhp you will get
If you like the Prodrive back box get one from Ebay or on here, that's what I did, expect to pay about £100 for the back box second hand ,£350 for a 2 piece decat and £600 for a remap inc. licence. Decent sport cats can be very expensive so watch out

I don't mind the exhaust but don't want it too loud! I've heard around £1500 for the ppp kit but remaps cheaper. Any body recommend and reputable places that do the remaps or better still where they had theirs done?

uppipe, downpipe, sports 100cell cat, upgrade turbo (second hand), upgrade to 550cc injectors (second hand), and then re map by JGM!

Should see over 320bhp.

If you do the turbo and injectors now you will not need to pay for another re-map if you decide to do later.

give subaru4you a call about the exhaust mods.

I've had 2 PPP cars. I have now gone down the Ecutek / decat route and the difference over PPP is huge. As your car is 5 years old it is out of warranty. Go aftermarket. I went for a full 3" decat Milltek system. A touch louder than Prodrive back box fitted previously
