I have a MY01 New Age Wagon and the Engine Management light has come on. I had the fault code checked (not by Subaru) and they said it was reporting an oxygen problem, probably the sensor. They reset it but it came on again after about 4 weeks. Question: I believe there are 2 sensors on this MY at the top and bottom of the downpipe, are they both the same, and which one of the 2 (if either) are likely to have gone first?

have just been through this whole mess. its most likely the front pre cat lamdba sensor, as the rear sensor isnt connected to diagnostics.
