Bu*+er me turbos gone!!
Hi Folks,
Just on my way home from work and i reckon my turbos gone i was only tootling but went to accelerate and as soon as the turbo should of kicked in i just get like a whistly wirry sound and no power. When i got in it yesterday morning it did seem to hold back a lot more than normal when its cold. Its an 03 sti jsut wondered if anyones got a turbo for one of these for sale or i can swap for gold alloys a standard exhaust a set of original springs etc ha ha can ya tell im having a clear out.

my turbo did exactly the same thing last fri... it sounds like a hoover is being used under the bonnet, lol
there's loads of turbos for sale at the mo mate... have a gander in the sales section

I did wonder that but i lifted the bonnet and when i turned off the engine as the turbo stoppeed spinning it sounded like it was jingling inside.
What is the replacement turbo for these please just want another standard one really

mine sounds awful, constand wirring... shes definately caput!
i believe the std turbo for your car is a VF35 mate and there are a few for sale at the mo for around the £300 mark
