Has the bulb for the interior light been changed recently. As the wrong wattage bulb could have been fitted.

Does it only blow when you have the light on?

It sounds like the wires have rubbed through somewhere and shorting to earth.

Do you have an interior clock?

Have you recently fitted a stereo/head unit?
