Default Temporary wheel vibration

I've just had four new tyres (zr1's) fitted to my blob wrx. The pressures are correct and nothing else has been changed.

I'm getting vibration from the wheels for the first couple of miles of any drive. It feels exactly like they are un-balanced but it goes away after that first few minutes minutes of driving.

I can't work it out

Suggestions anyone??

It's very unlikely. I've replaced them a few months back and haven't experienced any problem till the tyres were changed.

I'm gonna take it back to the tyre fitter and tell him that there's an unbalanced wheel (not mentioning that it goes away by itself!) and see if there's anything to found by getting them balanced again...

How long do you leave it between runs? You could be getting a flat spot develop when the car is stationary for a fair time, which corrects itself as you drive. This was a known problem with some Yokahama's a few years back, when they were popular on Cosworths.

Yeah it happens if the car is left overnight or all day (8 hours) at work.

I'm almost 100 percent sure it's not the calipers, I got a couple of reconditioned ones from godspeed and they are swaaa-eeet! Totally free running pistons and the pads/discs are new.
