after market oil cooler

Default after market oil cooler

hi there ive fitted an after market oilcooler kit to my scooby that sits by the grill as i now have the bigger cooler and all the extra pipes do i now need to put extra oil in the engine thanks for any help

Won't you know if you need more oil in it when you check its level ??

yes i can look at the dipstick but if the oilcooler is up by the grill would the oil run back out of the cooler and back to the sump when not running but maybe run low when the engine is running

I think the dipstick should read like without an oilcooler installed and the oil stays in the oilcooler, so the level showing is telling the truth, isn´t it?

mine just add 1 litre of oil
