Default problem? help please

on my 2003 blobeye wrx type uk, wen the turbo spools up and dumps the pressure through the hks ssqv valve, theres lots of smoke, noticable as wel wen driving slow and u dump in first, u can see the smoke coming out of the bonnet vent and wings etc,

im guesing the turbo oil seals have gone? would this be correct and would changing the turbo fix this problem?

is this damaging my car in any way?

just for the record the turbo isnt making any funny noises, whining etc and keeps boost pressure under heavy load,

any help appreciated!
thanks guys
cj

Does the car use any oil? do you have to keep topping it up? Would be a good idea to remove the intercooler and see how much oil is in it if any

yes im having to top it up quite regularly, its damp with oil on the inlet mani by the altinator were the bov is pointing, so theres oil in the smoke being blown out, so u think its turbo oil seals? or worse?
