Help brown jack plug in boot of car ?

Hi everyone, i have just found a brown jack plug underneath where the jack goes in boot, has anyone got any idea what it is ?. it looks like it is coming from where the bumber mount is. 1999 impreza 2.0 sport. any answers greatfully received thanks.

not sure m8 its not an import. fog lights already built in.
