Default help on ecu/boosting

hi every one i have just brought a polar perfomance ecu for my 1995 wrx it should be boosting to 1.2 but its only boosting to .9 i have changed actuator i have checked boost pipes some times the boost selenoid clicks on tick over is that right?

did you fit it yourself or buy it like that? Have you opened it up to see if the j1 resistor has been cut?

Did you get the ECU/chip direct from Polar or is it 2nd hand???

0.9 would be your standard boost for a guess!

If the BCS is ticking it's a good thing. If you connect the test wires under the dash it should click continually.

As said above, ensure the J1 link is cut, mine has a jumper fitted instead of the resistor as i got it direct from PP.

it has a white wire that has been cut i brought it second hand but the bloke said he tried befor he sold as he didnt use for 6 months. i was going to try my electronic boost controller and see if i can raise boost if i cant then it must be turbo or actuator.can i do that?

ye i have opend up and checked i have took the chip out and put back in.
