I have just pulled my original engine out of my car to replace it. I am looking at going 2.5 in a few months but while i got the old motor out i was also thinking about going 2.1.

I have read that my car has cdb and to check if it has i need to look for cross hatchings on the turbo side of the motor, what the hell am i looking for guys?????

 

Cross Hatching can be found on the Oil Filter Casting on the block and above the top of the Oil Pump.
