Default Baffle sump advice

Ok guy's I blew the crank on my 96 sti classic at Snetterton last week. I was using full slick tyres and it only lasted 3 laps

Anyway I'm getting another engine and it will be seeing the track again

I've seen some posts on here about baffled sumps but whats my best and cheapest option?

Buy a Lateral Performance baffled sump as they actual work, these aren't the cheapest but neither are engine rebuilds.

The cosworth plate has non return oil flaps and runs on top of the original sump. Lateral performance uses a new baffle design and none return oil flaps.
