newbie question...

it's very hard to get very smooth acceleration in my MY00, even if I hold the car at a certain amount of revs, there's still a weird surging going on underneath the bonnet. (not too much, but noticable to me!) Also, as it reaches higher rpm's there's an audible blowing noise, which I think only occurs in 1st and 2nd

any suggestions?

ps. I've only had the car a few weeks, so I'm still at the stage where every noise prompts a worry/response!

Wink

hmm the weird acceleartion sounds like the surging/hesaitation ECU bug thats seems to be coimg to light with the MY00, does it occur between 2-3000rpm on light throttle... mine is the same altough its only when cold, the funny noise may be the BOV or dumpvalve, but this prob was alledgedly solved on the MY00- check out www.sidc.co.uk for common faults its listed there

Cheers
