Default Steel spare wheel

Hi, kno this is probably gonae the most borin thread on this site!!!!!! Lol

Rite just properly checked the spare wheel in ther boot, it's basically F**ked, due to the fact that it's got a flat spot in the rim. Does any one kno if Subaru sell full size steel rims?????? Il fit a the tyre myself if i can get 1, but don't wana waste me time goin all the way to Luton Slip End Garage to be told that they don't sell/ make steel rims!!!!

Any one kno???????

Also...... When ppl buy a new Scooby do they get two keys..... Iv only got 1 so wana get another 1 as a "just in case" job....

Usually do get two key's with a new Scooby yes but if it's an Import then I believe most usually only come with the one. If your just after a space saver then check eBay or scrap yards for a second hand one. Welcome to Scoobynet BTW

Cool, thanks for the useful info on both topics. Im not a bustin fan of space savers due to fact iv seen ppl not fittin them properly and then thinkin they can still do motorway speeds on them and then havin accidents, sum of themserious!!!! Ideal wanted to get a full steel rim, that way at least i can still motorway speeds and not worryin bout potential "blow outs" but if i can't get 1 il gues il get a skinny 1!!! Lol

As for the issue, iv gotr a UK spec car so hopefully it shuld have come with a spare key wen the original owner bought it from Sparshatt Hants. Guess i need to do a bit of diggin, c if can get hold of it, if not it's a trip to Slip End to get 1 programmed.

Thanks again for the info. ;-)

I'm sure that skinny, peach yoghurt-coloured LOL spacesaver is good to do a steady 50mph in a straightline on.

Just how many potential punctures do you expect to get?!!! ;-) I mean it's hardly a sacrifice, is it?... Unless you intend to drive on it for days on end, before getting a new tyre!

IMO of course ;-)

...Admittedly though, you do feel a ***** running around with it on (I had to last year ). Was it really necessary for Subaru to paint it in that most awful, "this'll attract much pointing & laughing"-based colour?!

What with their less than robust engine, it would appear the company certainly has a sense of humour, if nothing else!

You may as well get a spare alloy, depending what wheels you have I'm sure it will be easier to source. I've only ever seen one Impreza in my whole life, with steel rims.
