Default changing front srping

iv got a broken front spring can i change it without taking all the drive shaft off . i was thinking i could undo the 2 camber bolts and the 3 bolts on the top of strut top mount , and maybe pull the leg out is this possible

Yes, you can take the strut out in the way you suggest, no need to take the shaft or hub off. However, you'll have to do something about the brake line assuming you have OEM (or similarly designed) suspension. Easiest way to do it without undoing the line is to remove the clip and then carefully slot the bracket so you can take the pipe out.

Better to replace springs as an axle pair, if not a full set.

yep i got a set of whiteline springs to go on just need to change the broken one as the cars stuck in my garage on 3 wheels ,then up to my mates garage to change the rest ,got goodridge hoses so no problem there ,am i best trying to mark the camber bolt so i get it back in the same place or is it a waste of time ha ha

It's worth marking the position of the bolts but work on the basis that the geometry will need looking at afterwards anyway. This is especially the case if you're going to be taking all four off - and fitting non-standard springs too.
