Hi guys,
finished rebuilding my 99uk turbo scooby and all is good, took her out for her first run tonight but i have no boost? theres no knocks or smoke, the turbo has a really loud whisle louder that normal but after about 8 miles the engine check light came on so i backed it off but nothing changed still no boost but ran fine with no pops or misses, any help would be great ,

When you say no boost, what do you actually mean? - No boost at all, or just spring pressure (0.6/0.7Bar)

Read the fault codes on the ecu to see why the EML came on.

Cheers JOHNLOGIE will do that, i stated it this morning and there is no CEL light on lol, im thinking A airleak so will take the inlet off today and seal the whole system again, when she is running you can here like an air hissing sound. from the engine bay also does any won have a diagram on how to connect the boost pipes as i think i have put them on wrong way oops

 

I think i worked it out i got a

23 Mass air flow sensor
24 Idle air control solenoid
32 Oxygen sensor

what would be the affects of these errors?

The car idles fine and there is no misses or backfiring just no boost or if there is very very little.
