Default A'pexi Commander Knock reading

EJ20G 1995 engine. GC8C4ED

Can anyone tell me what knock reading is to high/dangerous for the following revs? are they all the same?

3000 rpm
4000 rpm
5000 rpm
6000 rpm

I could get a knock of 30 at 4000 rpm and a knock of 18 at 6000 rpm to me this does not make sense, but I know little Am I right for this engine 40 or over is bad and should be looked at?

Is a high knock reading in a particular gear worse than another gear?

Sorry for all the questions!!!!!!!!!

I once had a knock reading of 82 for a brief moment in time (measured via the apexi lead/dongle and mapping software)

I would not recommend you go this high myself, iirc the hand commander only goes to about 60 anyway?

The last one i mapped only ever went to about 18 (usually )

The count of 82 was the piston giving up pmsl!

Highest knock I usually get is 40~45. Thats giving it a hiding
Normally driving it stays between 10~20.
My CEL warning is set to flash at 45.
