Default Water temp 95 Vers 2 RA help please

Had a cambelt service today, the garage changed all the coolant as well as the radiator was removed to access the cambelt.

Before the work the cars water temp on the Apexi commander always read around 90 - 92 deg normal. When I got home after picking the car up read 105 deg!

Is this normal for a coolant change or is something not right?

Knock also got up to 38 when it has never passed 32 before.

Thanks

I'd double check the level in the coolant tank when it has cooled down. 105 is a tad high after normal road use.

personally i don't think it's right to remove the rad for a cambelt change, mine was done recently and there is plenty of room with the rad in place but yes the water temp does seem too high.

will do,

too much or too little coolant level would cause the higher than usual temp? any other possibilities to check?

Thanks

Ok Thanks.

When trying to clear an airlock what is the max temp I should let the engine run to before shuting it down so no damage to the engine is done?

When driving at what temp shut it down a 95 engine so no damage is done?

Thanks

Is 105 degrees a safe temp to shut the engine down out or is this really to high when trying to clear airlock?

checked it today.

there is a leak around the lower pipe coming off the rad, not the pipe itself from what i can tell bottom of the rad below the pipe, can't really see.

Are there any weak points down there? Rad itself is only 3 years old so shouldn't be the rad, grrr

As will says if its def not from the top or bottom hoses or a bad hose clip sounds like your end tank has gone common problem. If you shut the car down at 105 deg you can bet the temps will rise as it cools I personally would suggest you shut ut down before you get to 100 the fans should be regulating the temp to below 92 so if it rises above this there is prob an issue
