Default blocks, piston fitments, problems,HELP

wiseco pistons i ordered for my 98 wrx, fitted to rear thrust block

blew 2 pistons and ruined block

now got a thrust position 3 block

will these pistons be ok to use

what the differences in the thrust postion 3 and 5 blocks as i kno there is diff wiseco pistions for the years.

dilema i have is will the pistons i got work ok in a thrust position 3

if not why not.

its hard to explain so if any1 has a idea about pistons blocks etc

The small end journal sizes and rod length used on both the phase 1 & 2 cranks are the same so the pistons should have the same skirt depth. Just check whether the piston crown protrudes the deck face once fitted.
