Default Bosch 044 pump failure

i have 2 bosch 044 pumps on my car,and with my car running on the limit, i am a bit scared of one of them failing while on track at full chat,

has any one any ideas of how i could have a warning light on dash or maybe a trigger that could switch me to a map that wouldnt pop my engine

i have a stack st8110sr dash and it has warning lights that can be programmed to my spec

eg, i was thinking of setting my fuel pressure warning light so if the fuel presure drops then it would set off the warning light, but i have been told that it may not drop if 1 pump fails

the other idea i had was 2 inline solenoid valves set with a normally open contact and then if 1 fails it would close the curcuit,

has anyone got any ideas,

thanks andy h

The only reliable way to do it, is to somehow use two pressure switches, because any other warning solution assumes a pump has totally failed, where it may still be running, but at reduced pressure.
