Default is my car breaking?

hi guys biut of help needed here. its a my00 uk facelift an had it remapped to 310 bhp well roundabout that but dunno torque figures. anyways im startin to notice the car drives differently like when u accelerate its fine an responsive but takin foot off pedal well it like lags with the gearbox or somethin an at some points it gives judders back an forth, theres no whines or anythin like that and fuelling an everythin fine its somethin to do with the drive but dunno what this is. does anybody else have this problem or had this or is this just me. any cure for this?

Not very clear as to what it is doing ,IMO. You say when you take yor foot off it lags ??? I don't understand what you mean.

its hard to explain. like theres a lag between when u take foot off an when the cars actually recognizes that u have done that. like on a motorbike lets say. your chain is stretched. by time u let off the throttle it takes time to transfer the powerdown to the wheel an causes judder. so im hopin my car is fine but could be a gearbox mount or just me. its very hard to explain

Do you mean there is less engine braking than before? Or takes a while for engine braking to take effect? Or just a momentary i.e. taking up the slack in the drive train?

I notice the same when weather/engine is very hot but probably to be expected. Is it possible the fuel cut was adjusted when remapped?

Also might be worth check that the dump valve is working - if the throttle never quite closes (not saying that this happens) on deceleration then more air would pass the throttle than if you hadn't previously been on boost.

exactly mate. u got it in 1. ive noticed this happens to mine. last night especially but today was ok. dump valve etc is fine. another thing is on odd days it will idle an 1k rpm an other days back down to normal. what is the cause for this an does anybody have this problem

throttle cable is fine. alot of slack an bit of freeplay at the end. its wierd how it idles differently on different days
