my00 uk impreza suspension
Hi All
I have had my car for about 4 weeks now, just getting to know it, i have found what appears to be adjusters on top of my suspension, i can not find any markings on the suspension and had thought the dampers to be standard, does any one know if the standard suspension had adjustment. The suspension has allen key wound all the way out and at present dont really want to mess with it.
Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian,
No, the suspension fitted by the factory is not adjustable.
When you say that you have "found" some adjustment, do you by any chance mean that you have removed the round black grommet from the front top susp mount and can now see an allen key fixing?
If so then the chances are that it is standard, the Subaru strut has an allen key hole in the tops of the struts so that you can stop it spinning when you do the top nut up.
One easy way to find out would be to get an allen key and try to turn the "Adjuster?" If you have Adustable suspension then it will quite easily turn in one direction or the other & you can always put it back where it came from if it moves.
If on the other hand it feels solid, then you have the STD set up.
