Same as, do you know if the tank is bigger at the top? as mine seems to take a while to get to full then to 1/2 seem slower than 1/2 to 1/4?
after it goes passed 1/2 it seems to drink it not even on boost nice and steady, I only put £20 in this week and this is the least i've put in since owning the car, My partner puts £20 a month in her 206 and drives more than me or so it seems, may be a 206 on the cards? I dont thinks so

I would like to know how much other have blown on fuel in a week or so i normaly do £50, which is around £8 a day on average and if i got a taxi 1 ride would be more than the scoob, I think i will keep the scoob

think so cos it has a cut out at he bottom of tank to fit over the chassi for the prop shaft think its why it has a float fo the guage at each side of the tank to compesate this though

Ive just bought an import version 2 and im pleased with the MPG so far, if i get 200 miles to a tank i will be dead chuffed, i usually drive a 4ltr landrover hybrid which averages 9 around town and around 14 on a run so the scooby is my cheap run around lol

£55 is about 50 litres. 250 miles / 50 litres = 5miles/litre. 4.5litres in a gallon. therefore 5 x 4.5 is about 23 mpg

£34 is about 63 litres of LPG. 250 miles / 63 litres = 4miles/litre therefore 4 x 4.5 is about 18mpg

HUH????? my maths must be crap. your getting more mpg out of SUL than LPG.

1. Let car get low on fuel...

3. Zero odometer...
4. Do the miles, let fuel get low again (anywhere)...
5. Brim up again...
6. Check how many litres go in (this is how much fuel you've used for the miles showing on your odo...
7. Divide these litres by 4.546 to get to gallons...
8. Then divide the recorded milage by the gallons...
9. Hey presto, a pretty accurate MPG calculation.

Continue from point 3 to start the process over again...

It's because LPG you get double fuel for you money, LPG you get less mpg but cost half the price.

totally depends on your tank size. MPG is actually worse on LPG than petrol, but it costs far less so you have to work out the 'equivalent' MPG which varies depending on cost of LPG and SUL at the time. Hard driving I get about 18MPG on petrol or equivalent on LPG for the same driving is about 28MPG at todays costs. Or to put it another way it costs me £0.27/mile to rag it on petrol or £0.17/mile to rag it on LPG

Here in france the equivalent is higher at 34mpg due to the prices here. Back on UK prices this goes up to 29/46mpg for SUL/LPG respectively on a gentle motorway cruise (55mpg equiv on french prices).

And if you've not got a heavy right foot and do 20 mile journeys to work... I get over 300 miles to each tank of £45 - almost exactly 30mpg everytime.
