Default Race Radiator

Do these make that much difference
Im running a wrx turbo 05
got a bailey BOV
K@N induction kit
PPP
upgraded brakes and pads ( RED STUFF )
Upgraded TMIC with new Lower Hose piping
Decat Single one piece exhaust 3inch barrel
Car was testing on a rolling road doing 310bhp

Was at the garage in sunderland and he said its a must that i get a race radiator on the car,

Now i thought he was after just a bit more money but he doesnt sell them and advised me when asking where to get one that the cheapest place was ebay ???

Anyone have one and know what difference they make.

It's worth doing if your OEM one has failed and needs replacing. In the short term you see more day to day benefit from a ZeroSports Cool Thermostat which opens at 71deg rather than OEM 78deg. Next time it's serviced for coolant, get one put in.

FWIW I run an ebay alloy race rad and it's great, especially @ £125

lol...If it's getting lot's of track work the cooler the better and the longer your car can sustain it's existing power safely. Will a race rad make it quicker in cold numbers? NO !

Thermostat is very worthwhile though mate

All I know is the Roger Clark "Gobstopper" 800bhp++ monster love it fantastic Impreza is still running a standard radiator so do you really think you need one??
Look pretty though and don't rust like the standard crap so it's just a matter of preference/budget really
