Default So..Exhausts?

is there a best performing exhaust out there for people hunting big bhp? do some flow better then others etc? what defines a performance exhaust from a run of the mill one?

Reason i ask is iv got a cheap 3' turbo back jobby, nothing special. When my engines built up and ready il replace the exhuast for something else with ceramic coating on the downpipe. and i love the ninja 2 systems - would this be a good option? i hear people say revolution systems are a good choice? or doenst it matter?

The most important part would be your downpipe, and you can't get better than RCM's 3" open neck one.

As for exhaust, I'd say that noise would be the deciding factor. I expect there are some differences in performance but any true 3" would be fine for 350+ bhp cars.

Personally, I'd go with the Rev one due to it being quieter so that:

1 - You don't look like a tool driving everywhere with a blaring exhaust,
2 - You can actually take it to track days without using a bung.

cheers

Milltek are well regarded, but expensive. I have a 3" full system which is fairly quiet, great quality too
