oil question..

Default oil question..

right i got wrong oil last time (to thick at 20w-50)
now have this,is this ok for a v4 sti type-r

Errrrrm nope.
You need either a 5w40 (which mobil did for subaru), a 10w40 fully synth (motul do this) or a 10w50, no 5w30 (too thin when hot) no 0w40 (too thin when cold ) or try a 15w50
Get you there in the end

i only just put 10w 40 semi syn motul in my scooby then. is this fine as im not the type to cane mine although had a remap an bigger turbo

Mobil 1 Motorsport 15W/50 fully syn

Works for me and many others (and Halfords let me buy it with my trade card)

thats wot i was going to get but couldnt really afford that 1 at the time so got a cheaper 1 so just checking if still ok because i dont screw mine or race it
