Hi
I have a 1996 import with the round bottle pump. The power steering feels ok not too heavy, fluid level is good and no leaks anywhere around the pump.
My question is there is a low whine noise coming from the engine which i can't isolate. I thought it may be the pump so i changed the pump/alternator belt but still there. Also when the car is idling and i turn the wheel left and right the noise changes and i also hear like a hiss of air is this normal??
