hks bov fallen apart
Hi my hks bov has fallen apart and I was wondering if I can run without a dump valve
My specs are td05 16g, apexi power fc, hybrid front mount intercooler, 740cc injectors,
Z32 maf, greddy profec 2 boost controller running at 1.4 bar of boost.
How will the car react without a dump valve?

hi mate
i removed my hks DV cause it was a bit much! I bought a planking plug from ViperPerformace and fitted it to pipe that would have fed to the DV, and an m5 bolt (i think) to blank off the little vacume hose that connected onto the back of the dumpvalve.
Generally people seem to say the TD series of turbos are solid and can handle no dump valve. mine's still the TD04 at the moment and it runs absolutely fine blanked off. You'll get turbo twitter/flutter/chatter if you back off when on boost which i like as a nice (more subtle) change. Only thing i don't like is i don't get anything like as many pops from the exhaust now lol! Go for it mate

that was a waste of time! Yes you can run the car with no dumpvalve, just make sure you blank off anything the dumpvalve connected to (hoses etc). if the dumpvalve mounted direct to the intercooler you will need to make/buy a blanking plate
