MY97 wrx sti engine

Could anyone definately tell me whether the this car had a forged engine, ive done a few searches which say it is but who to believe

Yes it has "forged" pistons, but like all classic STI's the rods are the same as the wrx's (which defeats the fact they give you semi decent pistons)
