Default uppipe?????

am i right in sayin that the classic uppipes dont av a cat?
and will one fit a newage? i have a stainless flexy joint one on my 53 wrx and want rid of it as ive heard bad things about them spliting!

yes correct all classics no up-pipe cat, and yes you are best getting rid of that **** flexi one aswell, you will also gain some spool up due to the correct size up-pipe being refitted

yes! the only significant difference to the up pipe was subaru went to twin scroll, but your year is fine.
