Changing my TD04 to a VF35 Help please!
Right i'm halfway through swapping my dead TD04 for a nice fresh VF35.
I have been reading up on it and after originally thinking I would need new banjo's for the oil and water feed I now see that I can just split them so they fit.
What I would like to know is do I need VF banjo bolts to reduce the pressure in the turbo or does it work the other way round (of I was going from a VF tp a TD).
Is it worth getting some new banjo bolts from Subaru anyway and how much do they cost?
Thanks.

VF35 is a sleeve bearing turbo, 34 is a roller bearing turbo, now what year car do you have? as your going to need her remapping after the turbo is fitted or your going to have issues MY99/00 cars have mappable ecu's, along with MY01 onward cars, 97/98 will need a new after market ecu, prior to that there are a few options available to you, aftermarket or mappable chip.

ive dont exactly same as you and was told to make sure i had the right oil bango bolt as they are diffrent size hole from old td04 your taking off
and what a diffrent car after all done, full bost at 3300rpm and stays that way instead of a little blast of air from the td04 at 2500rpm to 4000rpm
