hi got full decat 3" turbo back system, after a decat up pipe. does it matter if it has a flexijoint or not. just wondering because they are 70-80 quid instead of 130... plus its the same make as my system aswell as cheaper

 

I was led to believe the flexi joints can fail so I avoided one, went for a slip jointed stainless one heat wrapped in the end. Although as a cheaper alternative a used std sti one could be used.

 

harsh to hear as i have a flexi joint on one of my pipes already under the car. how much was yours and wheres the best place

 

get yourself a a standard classic up-pipe to replace it with, them ones off ebay are crap, i know of someone who has a brand new standard subaru up-pipe for sale PM me and i will put you in touch.
