is decat worth doing
Hi all im booked in for a remap with JGM soon would it be worth doing a de cat before remap on my 2006 STI with PPP, cheers steve.

You have a sports cat so not really
plus if you did you would have to drive like miss daisy or suffer the chance of engine damage

Sorry to hijack this, but will a sports cat (such as the one in the Japspeed groupbuy) require a remap?

i was under the impression that a decat would be better than a sports cat when matched with a remap.

They flow virtually the same, you may lose 1 or 2bhp with the sports cat but you wont fail any roadside emissions tests
