I/C pipe filter?
Am I talking waffle?
My mate (who knows v little about these cars like me) was speaking to a guy that owns an RB320 and he said there is a filter which goes on the I/C pipe that captures all the crap which would otherwise travel into the system?
is there such a thing and what is it called?

He possibly knows even less ?
LOL

P.S. The PCV valve does the exact opposite, i.e. it puts crap into the engine whilst under vacuum conditions.

How ironic that someone talking about a device to capture crap appears to be full of it. End of day the only filter in the induction system is the main air filter, and given that is there, what would be the point of fitting another particulate filter further down the induction tract?
Positive crankcase ventilation system. Sucks blowby gases, oil vapours, condensation and whatever else out of the block and heads, and feeds them into the inlet pipe before the turbo. So, as Dunx says, it puts stuff into the intake rather than takes it out.
whats PCV Valve?
