Hi to all just returned to scubie ownership, got a 53 WRX Wagon, 2 initial problems.
1- Rattling brake pads, pads looked like they have been changed recently could the spring pads be the wrong way up?
Every time i brake at low speed you hear a loud click from the front.
2- That old chesnut boost the good bit its very smooth, just dosnt seem
quick, it has the PPP fitted ecu, exhaust plus silcone hose from what i can see.
What boost should it run?
All pipes tight.
Small boost restrictor is clear also.
New NGK plugs fitted
Idles OK not millpond smooth, but not lumpy id say its fine.
