Not looked at your link, but firstly are you sure you need an oil cooler..?

Do you have a temp gauge, if so what temps are you seeing to warrant fitting a cooler..?

They can be a more hassle than worth unless you have genuine call for fitting one ..!

Hmmm, if you're seeing over a hundred after/during a hard drive on the road that's not bad IMHO.

Obviously temps are going to be higher at the track, but you still have 10-15c headroom and TBH it might be a good thing to back off and rest/cool other areas of the car..?

I suppose it comes down to how many track days you intend on doing and if it's going to be a regular thing. The main problem with an oil cooler comes at oil change time, when you also need to drain the cooler and associated pipework and then re-prime it all again on refill. Depending on the location of the cooler this can vary from a pain to an almost impossibility..!

Choose not to drain the cooler and you can imagine the effect the old oil (c1-1.5ltrs) would have on your nice refill of fresh oil..!

If the track work is going to be once in a blue moon you could always change the oil specifically for the track day (15w60?) and then back again afterwards. Strictly speaking you should have fresh oil for a track day anyhow and again changed again afterwards..

What oil grade/type do you currently run..?
