I did when i say rebuild all i did is replace pistons and piston rings and gaskets etc, it sounds like injectors and i had water in my fuel just wondering if this could mess the injectors up ?

Question

Did you rebuild using forged pistons per chance?

Damn it.

'Cause the symptoms you describe does sound like piston slap... which is normally nothing to worry about if the pistons were forged.

I suppose it still could be piston slap though...

Any chance of sending a sound clip (cameraphone vid) of the noise?

I don't think it's bottom end, as it wouldn't go away and would get louder with revs, etc...... then it get progressively worse in a short amount of time, then bang.
