Just curious as to how much a twin scroll turbo would be to purchase new and how much would it cost to have it fitted also?
Sorry dont know the part number but its off a 200 newage jdm sti.
Does any one have a rough idea....thanks in advance.

Have seen VF36 units, as fitted to my '05 JDM STi, new on eBay for the right side of £500, then you need headers (£400 maybe) a sump (£75 I think) and a few other odds and sods. Then you need a twinscroll downpipe...£200 perhaps.
So around £1300 plus fitting; probably an hour or two, so best to budget £1500 I would say.

And then add the cost of a remap circa 600 quid
If its a uk classic that this is going on, add for a clutch and gearbox as twin scroll turbo's produce much more torque (due to the otehr parts like headers etc)

If it doesn't really need to be new - have a look at this:

pretty good price. You'll need probably just yet oil sump - it's going to be probably around 100 pounds...
And remap. It can make classic impreza quite a fast car even if it's not vf36.
Of course as said above - you might also need stronger clutch, depends on what's on now.
cheers
